In 2017, we lost our beautiful baby girl, Leia Lynn. Two months after we lost Leia, our eldest son, Landon, was hospitalized with a severe RSV infection. He was very sick and very scared. Upon his admission to the hospital, Landon received a Build-A-Bear and he quickly found comfort. Landon's bear was by his side through his entire recovery. We watched how his bear, a simple act of kindness, transformed his experience in the hospital, and he still has his bear today.

 

In honor and memory of Leia, The Leia Lynn Foundation is committed to providing individual gifts to inpatient children that are specially designed to give a hug, some hope, and a lot of comfort; the same way Landon found comfort from his bear.
